SMS Terms & Conditions
Surge Platform · Effective July 2026
Program Description
Surge sends SMS messages exclusively to users who have voluntarily opted in through an authorized tenant to receive deployment alerts, standby notices, and operational updates. Messages are operationally relevant. You will not receive marketing or promotional messages through this program.
Email (separate program)
Email from tenant organizations — including training notices or roster updates — is governed separately from this SMS policy. If you choose email on an opt-in form, your consent and choices are described in our Privacy Policy at surge-command.com/privacy. SMS opt-in alone does not opt you in to email.
Mobile Data and Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information collected through Surge will not be shared with third parties, affiliates, or partner companies for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to deliver the operational SMS communications described in this policy.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on active field events. During inactive periods you may receive no messages for weeks at a time. During active deployment events you may receive multiple messages in a single day. All messages are operationally relevant — standby notices, mobilization alerts, stand-down confirmations, or periodic roster check-ins.
How to Opt In
Complete the opt-in form provided by your tenant organization. The consent checkbox must be checked to receive SMS messages — it is never pre-checked. Submitting the form without checking the box will not enroll you in SMS communications.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to your number. To re-enroll, complete the opt-in process again.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You may also contact us at support@surge-command.com.
Cost
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Surge does not charge any additional fee to receive SMS alerts.
Supported Carriers
All major U.S. carriers are supported, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier network availability.
